Best Friends

Lots of hand embroidery on this one

from a Bronwyn Hayes book.

Made it in red and purple because they were my favourite colours that year!

Black white with some red

One of my first quilts made in 2006.

Sorbet Sunrise 2007

Things take time.

I took 3 years to make this wallhanging.

From New York Beauties.

I really enjoyed it.

Loved working out the colours in the fabrics.

Kimono 1001

Made

Kimono 1001 for the Novocastrian Quilt Exhibition in 2007.

Made it in a week........from start to finish. Sore fingers because beads are sewn on at every 1" over the red fabric.

My little Japanese Bag

When I was making the Geisha Goddess Wallhanging I had 19 hexagons left over so I made this little bag.

Geisha Goddesses Quilted Wallhanging

I've been quilting over the last couple of years.

I loved making this......

It was a panel that I appliqued with Japanese fabrics.

I've just started another similar wallhanging of a single Geisha - and will put pics of progress up as soon as I get the camera out.

We are getting more and more bonded -me and the camera, ie.
