Bought a denim vest from the 'Salvos' and have removed the sleeves so............
now I am knitting up two (well, it has to be two as I have two arms) sleeves to insert.
This is sleeve no 1.
Still a ways to go with it.
I have all the balls of yarns (stuff I have left over from other projects, odd balls that I've liked and bought, yarn I've dyed myself) in a big bag and I just dip and knit.
Lots of fun and I don't get bored.
I just have to remember what I did increasewise for the second sleeve!

Healing Rug

I made my rug throughout 2006 and 2007. I bought most of the yarn in the USA in 2005 and came home from my visit there to a major health crisis within my family.
I wasn't feeling terribly creative but wanted to have something in my hands to do........and so the rug. No pattern............so I didn't have to fiddle with books. Any size needles. And no order in the yarn or colour composition. Really I just simply threw it together.
I don't think the pic does it justice..............however the camera and I are still in bonding mode.
One thing I did love when I was making it ...............during our cooler months I could sit under and knit.
I really helped with the problems............and quite amazingly as the health problem was resolved the rug finished!

Odds 'n Sods Scarf
I knitted my scarf on circular needles making a tube.
It was really fun to make because I just grabbed yarns out of my yarn stash.......popped them all in a bag and whatever I pulled out I had to knit. Just a little rule!
And I do wear it. It's really long so wraps and wraps around my neck and looks great with a plain sweater.
